Uttarakhand: 75 year old Harish Rawat sitting on dharna against Mussoorie’s plight, gave ultimatum on lateness in work

Former Chief Minister Harish Rawat staged a sit-in over the delay in the reconstruction and beautification work of Mall Road. During this, Harish Rawat also demonstrated against the government along with the workers. Harish Rawat also accused the Dhami government of ruining the tourist season of Mussoorie. He says that CM Dhami should apologize to Mussoorie and the people of the state for this.

Giving an ultimatum to the government, Congress leader Harish Rawat said that if the work of reconstruction and beautification of Mall Road is not completed within 15 days, Congressmen will march from Mussoorie to Dehradun. The Congress workers of Mussoorie have put forth 12 demands, which include opening of the town hall of Mussoorie, operation of the petrol pump, displacement of the homeless people of Shifan Court, besides other demands. If these demands are not met within the stipulated time, work will be done to surround the government.

Harish Rawat said that the work of reconstruction and beautification of Mussoorie Mall Road is being done in an unplanned manner by the state government. The brunt of which has fallen on the people and business of Mussoorie. He alleged that the Dhami government conspired to ruin the tourist season of Mussoorie. What technology and engineers are the government using, who are not able to complete the reconstruction work of Mall Road even in 6 months.

He said that the public and tourists are facing the brunt of the wrong policies of the government. BJP leaders are currently only doing politics of religion. BJP is coming to power by doing the politics of religion, but now it is not going to happen. The coming year 2024 belongs to Congress and the government of democratic parties is going to be formed. Because the people of the country have understood the Hindu-Muslim game of BJP, which is not going to work now.
