Maharashtra: After killing the live- in partner, the dead body was cut into pieces, cooked in a cooker, ground in a mixer
The Mumbai Police on Wednesday evening took 56- year- old Manoj Sahni into custody for allegedly killing his live- in partner Saraswati Vaidya and dismembering her body. Police has recovered the mutilated body of a woman from a society in Mira Road area. According to the information, this couple was living in a live- in relationship. Saraswati Vaidya was living with the accused for three years in a rented flat in Akash Ganga building in Mira Road area.

The dead body was hiding for three days
According to the police, on Sunday (June 3) midnight, there was a dispute between Saraswati and Manoj over some issue. When the dispute escalated, Manoj brutally murdered Saraswati. Manoj kept the dead body in the house for three days and cut it into several pieces. According to the police, accused Manoj Sahni cut some parts of the body and cooked it in a pressure cooker to destroy the evidence. After that, after grinding the cooked dead body in the mixer, tried to hide the dead body. The police said in their statement that this incident is very gruesome, inhuman and condemnable.
Challenge for the police Police told that the missing remains of the dead body are being searched. The recovered remains have been kept at Pandit Bhimsen Joshi Hospital. The officer said that two people have been detained. they are being interrogated. Preliminary investigation has revealed that the woman was murdered due to a quarrel between the two. The exact reason for the murder has not been revealed yet. Experts say that according to the information received in this case, it will be a challenge for the police to find the missing remains of the dead body in the way the incident has been executed.
