Monsoon has entered Kerala, soon it will knock in your state too

The people of the state will have to wait for monsoon showers from June 18 to 20. The relief information is that monsoon has entered Kerala after a delay of a week. Monsoon is advancing towards Kerala, South Tamil Nadu, remaining parts of Comorin area, Gulf of Mannar and parts of Southwest, Central and Northeast Bay of Bengal. Looking at the current situation, monsoon is expected to reach Jharkhand from June 18 to 20.

According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, even though the monsoon has arrived in Kerala with a delay of a week, it can reach on time in other states as well. Earlier, the monsoon was predicted to reach Bihar, Jharkhand, North Odisha, Chhattisgarh, southern areas of Madhya Pradesh by June 10….

When and where will the monsoon reach
According to the map released by the Meteorological Department, the monsoon will reach Maharashtra by June 10 and knock on the border of Bihar and Jharkhand from June 18 to 20. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Center Ranchi, the monsoon is expected to reach Delhi, Haryana and the southern part of Rajasthan by June 15.

Earlier, the Meteorological Department had predicted the monsoon to enter Kerala on June 1 but it has arrived late by a week. Usually monsoon enters Jharkhand from June 14 to 15, but this time it is expected to enter Jharkhand with a delay of 4 to 5 days.

Rain will be less than normal due to delay in monsoon
This will directly affect the agriculture. Rainfall will be less than normal due to delayed arrival of monsoon. Last year in 2022 too, the monsoon had entered Jharkhand on June 18 with a delay of 6 days. According to the Meteorological Center Ranchi, the monsoon will enter the state from June 18 to 20. Let us tell you that by June 12, it was being said that the monsoon would enter Jharkhand. Meteorologists are telling climate change as the main reason for this delay.

Partial clouds will prevail in the capital till June 12
Talking about the weather of the last 24 hours, there has been light rain at some places in the state. The effect of heatwave was observed in most places. Maximum rainfall of 1 mm has been recorded in Maheshpur of Pakad. The highest maximum temperature was recorded at 43.4 degree in Godda while the lowest minimum temperature was recorded at 26.1 degree in Bakaro. On the other hand, talking about the capital, the maximum 39.8 degree Celsius has been recorded while the minimum has been recorded 28 degree Celsius.

Abhishek Anand, Senior Scientist of the Meteorological Center Ranchi, said that from June 9 to 12, the capital will see partly cloudy sky in the afternoon or evening and the effect of heatwave will also be seen at some places. On the other hand, on June 9 and 10, a yellow alert has been issued regarding heatwave in the eastern and neighboring parts of the state. He informed that there is no possibility of any major change in the maximum temperature in the state for the next five days.
