How much will it affect the opposition unity? Mayawati and Jitan Ram Manjhi will not attend the meeting

To defeat the BJP before the Lok Sabha elections, the opposition parties are already preparing for a Grand Alliance. Nitish Kumar is leading this opposition unity. A meeting of opposition parties is going to be held in Patna on 23rd June. According to media reports, more than 15 opposition parties of the country are going to participate in this meeting. But Dalit leader and BSP supremo Mayawati is not going to attend this meeting. Not only this, former Chief Minister of Bihar and chief of Hindustani Awam Morcha Jitan Ram Manjhi will also not attend the meeting as both have not been invited to attend the meeting.
Mayawati will not attend the meeting
BSP’s Bihar in-charge Anil Singh said that our party has already made it clear that we will not participate in the unity of the opposition. We contest elections alone every time. This time also he will contest elections alone in 5 states of the country. In Bihar, we will field our candidates on 40 seats. Anil Singh said that we think about the upliftment of Dalits and there can be no better Prime Minister than Mayawati. He alleged that everyone in the opposition was putting forward their own faces for the post of Prime Minister. Bihar is not being managed by Nitish Kumar, he has gone to manage the country.
Jitan Ram Manjhi also did not get the invitation
Apart from Mayawati, Hindustani Awam Morcha and former Bihar CM Jitan Ram Manjhi have also not been invited to attend the meeting of opposition unity. Jitan Ram Manjhi informed this to the media 2 days ago and told that he comes from a Dalit family and his party also represents the Dalit vote. There is also a name of Lok Janshakti Party in Dalit party which is with BJP. In such a situation, the absence of Dalit parties in the opposition unity shows that everything is not so easy for the Grand Alliance money.
