Director General of Police Ashok Kumar interacted with the officials of the department through video conferencing to maintain law and order in the state. During this, while issuing guidelines to the officers on 7 points, he described all those 7 points as very important for maintaining law and order.

In order to restore law and order in Uttarakhand, the Director General of Police interacted with the officers of all the districts through video conferencing. During this, where information was taken from the officers related to the conferencing at the regional level in the context of law and order, the Director General of Police while talking to the officers on 7 points instructed them to be extra vigilant in all these matters.

The Director General of Police called it necessary to run the verification campaign on a large scale across the state. Apart from this, after getting the information received during the verification campaign verified from the concerned state, instructions were given to get the report on time and to issue circulars related to it to the states. The Director General of Police also talked about speeding up the campaign in cases of encroachment on government lands across the state and establishing coordination with various departments in this regard. Apart from this, instructions have been given to complete all the preparations for the upcoming G20 meeting and to improve the traffic plan from the security of the delegation.

In the meeting, it was also asked to complete the preparations regarding the Kanwar fair. In this, instructions were also given to coordinate with all the states before organizing the Kanwar fair and complete necessary meetings with various departments in its context. In this meeting regarding law and order, special attention was also given to provocative and provocative videos on social media. BJP said that apart from counseling people who upload such videos, legal action should also be taken. For this, instructions were also given to alert the social media monitoring cell of all the districts.

Those who violate the law should not be spared under any circumstances and instructions have also been given to take strict action against such identified people. Talking about the hate speech cases in the meeting, the DGP has also asked to take cognizance of such cases and register cases as per the directions of the Supreme Court.
