G-20 meeting will be held in Rishikesh from June 25 to June 28, Chief Secretary took a meeting regarding preparations

Chief Secretary Dr. S.S. Sandhu on Tuesday took a meeting at the secretariat regarding the preparations for the G20 to be held in Rishikesh from June 25 to June 28. The Chief Secretary said that the management was very good in the previous G20 meetings, it should be continued in the coming meeting as well.
The Chief Secretary said that being a tourism state, we need to pay special attention to the image of the state. He said that whatever works are being done for beautification, their quality should be ensured. All the improvement works that should be done should be of permanent nature so that the tourists coming even after G20 can enjoy them.
The Chief Secretary said that a mechanism should be developed for the rejuvenation of roads in all the districts of the state. He said that for the beautification of the roads, an item should be made under the District Magistrate or the Tourism Department, in which arrangements for beautification and its maintenance could be ensured along the roads.
On this occasion Additional Chief Secretary Anand Bardhan, Secretary Sachin Kurve, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, Dipendra Kumar Chaudhary, Vinod Kumar Suman, H. C. Semwal, ADG V. Murugesan, A. P. Anshuman, VC MDDA Banshidhar Tiwari and other high officials were present.
