More than 100 people died after the boat capsized
Police spokesman Okasanmi Ajayi said the boat capsized in the Niger River in Kwara state near neighboring Niger. “We have come to know that a boat capsized in the Niger River, in which around 100 people have died. However, the search operation is going on and the death toll may increase,” he said.
Administration engaged in taking out the dead bodies
