In a village in Bakhira area of Santakbirnagar, on Sunday night, the bride ran away from the mandap with her village lover after the Jaimala in the procession. A bride was searched for the marriage ceremony, but the bride could not be found. The procession returned in the night without marriage. In this case, the next day the victim’s brother filed a case against the accused lover.

The marriage of a 21-year-old girl, a resident of Bakhira area, was arranged by her relatives in a village in Belhar area. The marriage procession reached late evening on Sunday. Jaimala’s program concluded. Preparations for the wedding ceremony were going on. At two o’clock in the night, the bride came out of the mandap on some pretext and then eloped with the lover of the village.

Here the girls started looking for a bride for marriage, but the bride was not found in the house. When the groom’s side came to know about this, people started saying different things. The marriage ceremony could not be completed due to non-availability of the bride. In the night itself, the people of the marriage party took the bridegroom and went to their village without marriage. Here on Monday, the brother of the bride gave Tahrir to the Bakhira police, alleging that his sister used to talk to the youth of the village.

It is alleged that the same young man entangled in his love trap and lured his sister away. The victim’s brother demanded to find the sister and take action against the accused. According to SO Shyam Mohan, a case has been registered against the accused youth for abducting the bride and under the SC-ST Act. It was reported that the accused youth lived in Mumbai. The accused can take the girl to Mumbai. On the basis of the same, checking of Kushinagar and Bandra Express trains going to Mumbai was done by deputing police personnel at Khalilabad and Basti railway stations, but both were not detected. The search for both continues.
