Rajasthan: An IPS and an IAS were suspended here, there was a liquor party after the transfer, there was also an allegation of assault with the hotel workers, along with 2 passengers, 8 others were also suspended

The state government has taken major action regarding the Ajmer liquor party case in a restaurant three days back on the Jaipur-Ajmer highway and the subsequent fight. The Gehlot government has suspended IPS officer Sushil Kumar Bishnoi and IAS officer Girdhar Chaudhary involved in this. Suspension orders of both have been issued. During the period of suspension, IAS Girdhar Chaudhary’s headquarters will be Personnel Department and IPS Sushil Kumar’s DGP’s office will be Jaipur. Three policemen of Gegal police station have also been suspended for giving undue favors in this case. There is a lot of discussion about these orders in the administrative corridor.

In the order issued by the Personnel Department, it has been clearly stated that a departmental inquiry is going on against both the officers. The kind of evidence that has come to the fore during the investigation in the case has raised many questions regarding the behavior of officers in public life. By suspending both the officers on Tuesday late evening itself, a clear message has been given by the government to the entire administrative fleet of the state. Gehlot Sarkan has given the message of zero tolerance policy in case of wrong conduct of officers.

Along with two passengers, 8 other people were also suspended

The government had ordered action against IAS and IPS as well as other guilty policemen. After this, on the orders of the DGP, ASI Ruparam of Gagal police station, constables Gautam, Mukesh Yadav, Mukesh Jat posted in Tonk, junior assistant Hanuman Prasad in Tehsidar office of Tonk and tank patwari Narendra Singh Dahiya have also been suspended.

Please inform that IPS Sushil Kumar Bishnoi was posted as SP City in Ajmer. He was appointed OSD of the newly formed Gangapur district by the government. On Sunday, he was given a farewell party at the restaurant. After the party was over, on June 11 at 2 pm, he had reached the hotel to have dinner with friends.

What is the whole matter?

This incident is of the intervening night of Sunday, 11-12 June. At around 3 pm, IPS Sushil Bishnoi reached Makrana Raj Hotel in Gegal police station area with his friends in civil clothes. There he asked a hotel employee the way to the washroom and went inside. An employee told him the way out for the washroom. It is alleged that on this the IPS got angry and assaulted the employees. There are also allegations of vandalizing the hotel. The owner of the hotel gave information about this matter to the Gegal police station. When the police reached the hotel and investigated, it was found that the accused is an IPS officer. It is alleged that Sushil Vishnoi then reached the hotel with his friends and again had a fight with the hotel staff. This time the policemen also allegedly supported them and thrashed the staff members with sticks.
