The dispute between MLA Salona Kushwaha and Chairman Manoj Verma is increasing due to political rivalry in Nigohi. On Tuesday night, the police registered a report against Manoj Verma and his father, former MLA Roshanlal Verma, after the video of an altercation between the MLA and the chairman over a chair in the Nagar Panchayat office went viral. In the FIR lodged by the MLA’s representative, it is alleged that an attempt has been made to tarnish the image of the MLA by making the video viral.

On Monday, there was a heated argument between MLA Salona Kushwaha and Chairman Manoj Verma in the Nagar Panchayat office over the chair. The video of the entire incident went viral on the social site. On Tuesday, another video went viral by Manoj Verma alleging that the sanitation workers of the Nagar Panchayat were working at the MLA’s office in Mishripur. This video was also shared with the ID of former MLA Roshanlal Verma.

On Tuesday evening, MLA’s representative Ashutosh Kumar Singh lodged a complaint at Nigohi police station against Chairman Manoj Verma and his father former MLA Roshan Lal Verma. It has been told that on the afternoon of June 12, while listening to public problems, a complaint had come to MLA Salona Kushwaha regarding the works in Nigohi Nagar Panchayat. When the MLA reached the Nagar Panchayat office on this, the chairman was enraged to see her in his office. The chairman showed the pride of his father, former MLA Roshanlal Verma, and using indecent language, used indecency with the MLA.

The chairman secretly edited the video and made it viral on social media. Due to this the image of MLA Salona Kushwaha has been tarnished. Police have registered an FIR against Nagar Panchayat President Manoj Verma and his father, former MLA Roshanlal Verma, under Section 500 of the IPC and Section 72 of the Information Technology (Amendment) Act, 2008.
