Uttarakhand: Mahendra Bhatt expressed satisfaction over the peace system established in Uttarkashi, said – put a brake on the plans of parties looking for political opportunities

The BJP has expressed satisfaction over the peace system established in Uttarkashi with the cooperation of the government and the general public and commended the efforts of the administration and voluntary organizations for this. State President Mahendra Bhatt said that Congress and other organizations were looking at the episode as a political opportunity and their plans have also been put on hold.

Answering questions from the media regarding the developments in Purola at the party headquarters, Bhatt said that due to the strict law and order arrangements made by the Dhami government and the cooperation of the local people and various organizations, there is an atmosphere of peace in Uttarkashi. The BJP understands the concern of the public very well in this whole episode, but no one can be allowed to spoil the atmosphere of the state. He said that most of the people who are involved in the activities of Love Jihad or Land Jihad are not from the communities of the state. Due to strict conversion, verification and land law, such people engaged in conspiring by tricking, cheating or luring the poor sisters and daughters of the state have been banned.

Taking a dig at the Congress, Bhatt said that he is worried about such conspiracies being curbed and those who are still carrying out such incidents are coming under the clutches of the law. He was trying to take political advantage even when the peace system was disturbed through organizing Jan Panchayats and other incidents. He said that everyone will have to come forward for creating awareness in the family and society for the protection of the nature of Devbhoomi.

During this, on the issue of notice regarding the land of the proposed BJP office, he clarified that apart from the party, notice has also been issued against many other people. At present, the documents sought by the court regarding the land in the notice will be filed with complete facts respecting the judicial process.
