The party membership campaign has entered the third phase with the joining of hundreds of senior people active in various social sectors under the leadership of State President Bhatt and former CM Dr. Nishank.
In this joining program held at the party headquarters, State President Mahendra Bhatt and former CM and Haridwar MP Dr. Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, along with hundreds of senior social workers, got Congress state office bearers to join the party by wearing patkas in view of their social role. In his address on this occasion, Bhatt said, impressed by the works of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, all those who come to the party, have faith that you will be fully respected. The Prime Minister has done incomparable historical work to move India decisively towards becoming the best in the world. So now it is our turn to do it. For which all the people involved in the party have to cooperate as much as possible in other party programs including the ongoing mass public relations campaign. He said, BJP is an ideological, organizational and disciplined organization, imbibing which you have to unite to fulfill the mission of state and country building. Talking to the media after the program, he informed that with today’s program the party’s membership drive has entered its third phase. Earlier, in the first phase senior office bearers of various parties and in the second phase senior booth level workers were included. In this phase, which started from today, dozens of presidents, councillors, senior officials of various co-operative societies, including entrepreneurs, educationists, important people working in the health and judicial sectors, along with people active in the professional and social sectors, have been made party members.
Welcoming all the people involved in the party on this occasion, Dr. Nishank said, India has known and the world has accepted the capacity shown by Modi ji to convert vision into mission. Today every Indian’s chest swells with pride when our Prime Minister is honored at the highest platforms of the world, when heads of other countries touch his feet. He said to the new party members, you have joined the biggest party of the world under the wonderful leadership of Modi ji, so you also have to cooperate in the mission of serving the nation.
Former state minister and head of various educational institutions, Manohar Lal Sharma, among the prominent people who took membership of the party, said, “We are all here impressed by the way the country is moving forward under the leadership of Modi ji in adverse circumstances.” Referring to his bitter experience with the Congress, he said, today there is no democracy there as there is no responsible person in the form of high command to whom one can place one’s party or personal problems.
