Uttarakhand: Seeing the filth in Doon Hospital, CM Dhami’s mercury rose, reprimanded the officials – checked the quality of the food of the patients, said, patients should get the best facility

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Tuesday made a surprise inspection of the Government Doon Medical College Hospital in Dehradun. Expressing displeasure over the filth spread in the hospital premises, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed the officers to keep the hospital premises clean and beautiful. The Chief Minister inquired about the health of the patients who came to the hospital and inquired about the arrangements. He interacted with the caretakers of the patients and inquired about the resources available in the hospital, availability of doctors, availability of medicines, and arrangements for food and drink.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself went and saw the food being prepared for the patients present in the hospital. He said that there should not be any shortage in the food provided to the patients. Special care should also be taken to ensure that all types of nutrients are found in the food. He went to the registration desk to know about the number of patients coming daily. Directing the officers, he said that the number of registration desks should also be increased so that the patients coming to the hospital for health check-up do not have to stand in long queues.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also went to the emergency ward and talked to the doctors and nursing staff present there. He also inquired about the presence of doctors present in the hospital. He also inquired about various modern machines being used in the treatment of patients. He said that this arrangement should also be made in the hospital so that the patients do not have to roam unnecessarily. Patients get maximum benefits at one place.
