Even after this, if she did not agree, the mother slapped her on the cheek to correct her. On this the girl left the house and ended her life by jumping into the Yamuna.
Mother had scolded for eating tobacco
Pappu Kushwaha lives with his family in Mali Mohalla under Sadar Bazar police station area. He is a laborer by profession. On June 17, when daughter Sonia reached home after consuming tobacco, mother Shanti started scolding her. Instead of understanding her mother’s advice, Soniya gave the opposite answer to her mother. On this, the angry mother slapped the daughter’s cheek. According to relatives, upset with this, the daughter left the house. The mother thought she must have gone to the neighborhood, but when she did not return for a long time, the search was started. Searched the surrounding area, but could not find a clue anywhere.
Police found slippers on the banks of Yamuna
Relatives gave application in the police station. The police registered a missing person and started searching for him. On Sunday, near the Mahadev Ghat on the banks of the Yamuna, the slippers of the girl were found. Searched in Yamuna, but got disappointed. On Monday, near the Panchmukhi Hanuman temple, when the dead body of a girl was seen being unloaded, the people of the surrounding area came. The police arrived and Pappu and his mother Shanti also reached. When the body was taken out, it was identified as Sonia. Inspector-in-charge Jaspal Singh told that the girl died by jumping into the Yamuna after her mother refused to eat tobacco. The cause of death will be clear from the post mortem report.
