A campaign has been launched by the Almora police to make people aware against drugs. An LED vehicle has been started with the aim of creating awareness among the people by telling about the side effects of drugs. Which was flagged off by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami who reached Jageshwar. On the other hand, jute bags and file covers made by ANTF Almora were distributed to children and youth.

Awareness program will be run in all schools on June 26

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami told that Home Minister and Prime Minister Modi are also worried about drugs. For this, an awareness campaign is being run across the country. On June 26, awareness programs will be held in all the schools, educational institutions and voluntary organizations of the state. He has requested everyone that our children who are coming in drug addiction, they have to get rid of that trap. Therefore, whatever awareness campaign or important work is being done, everyone will have to participate in it.

Work will be done to make strict law

The CM said that the government will continuously monitor drugs and will take a tough stand in this. The big drug mafia or gangs that operate this will be caught. At the same time, work will also be done in the direction of making a strict law for this. During this, MP Ajay Tamta, MLA Mohan Singh Mehra, MLA Pramod Nainwal, Inspector General of Police Kumaon Nilesh Anand Bharne, DM Vineet Tomar and SSP Ramchandra Rajguru etc. were present.

Drug free devbhoomi mission 2025

On Wednesday, the CM had reached Jageshwar on the occasion of International Yoga Day to make the drug-free Devbhoomi Mission 2025 a success. Earlier, he had practiced yoga with yoga guru Baba Ramdev in Haridwar.
