How were the houses of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana approved on Forest Department land? Sagar Collector Deepak Arya is also surprised about this. He has also said that action will be taken against the culprits.

Many cases of irregularities have come to light in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s most ambitious PM Awas Yojana from Madhya Pradesh. In Dewas, Madhya Pradesh, the amount sent under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was spent on other items. In this case, Ujjain Lokayukta police has registered several crimes and is investigating against the culprits. Meanwhile, a case of construction of houses under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana on the land of the Government Forest Department has come to light in Sagar. This matter came to light when the Forest Department demolished 10 houses in village Repura of Surkhi assembly constituency.

The matter is serious
After bulldozing these houses, it came to light that they were constructed after receiving financial assistance under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. According to Sagar Collector Deepak Arya, the matter is serious. Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, how was a house sanctioned on Forest Department land and how was its amount allocated? This is a matter of investigation. Whoever is found guilty in this case, strict action will be taken against him. Sagar Collector Deepak Arya said that houses with pitched roof are approved under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana. The most important thing is that the houses which were demolished by the Forest Department, had tin sheds installed on them.

Officials were not believing after seeing the tin shed
He told that even the Forest Department officials did not believe the words of the people after seeing the tin shed, whereas the house was built under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana.
According to PCR Yadav, Ujjain’s nodal officer of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, when a house is approved under this scheme in urban areas, financial assistance of Rs 2.5 lakh is available, but in rural areas this amount is Rs 1,40,000. He told that Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana houses cannot be approved on the land of Forest Department or any other department, whereas if the applicant is eligible on government land for the last five years, then he can be given the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana by paying the property tax. .

PM Awas Yojana funds spent on other items
He told that the first condition should be Nazul whether the land is private or government. This simply means that the benefit of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was wrongly given on the Forest Department land in Sagar. According to Ujjain Lokayukta DSP Sunil Talan, Lokayukta police have registered three separate cases after the case came to light that the amount allocated under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana was spent on other items in three city councils of Dewas district. In these cases, along with the officials of the Municipal Council, the then Chairman and other private people have also been made accused.
