A mother in Agra is fighting to get her baby girl back. The girl child whom she did not give birth to, but she raised for eight years from the time she was born. The life of this mother changes from around 4 am on November 28, 2014. It was getting bitterly cold. Meena, a resident of Tajganj, was in a deep sleep. He was woken up by a continuous knock on the door. When the door was opened, a familiar eunuch was standing in front of her with a newborn baby girl in her lap. Somebody has thrown it on the bank of the drain. You take care of it, if it stays outside for some more time in winter, it will not survive. For eight years the child remained a part of the family. Now the wall of law has been erected. The girl child is in a children’s home and the mother is wandering with the authorities to get her. The eunuch’s intentions changed after seven years regarding the girl Meena’s whole family was elated after getting from the eunuch. One day in October 2021, she reached Meena’s house and when Meena was not at home, she took the child in the car. Meena’s troubles started from this day itself.
Baby girl named kainat
The eunuch who had handed over the girl child to her in 2014, and the same eunuch is fighting to get the girl child legally. Meena told, the day the eunuch gave her the baby girl, her health deteriorated only ten days after that. Had to be admitted to the hospital. Her husband saved her by donating blood. His treatment went on for three years. Then his life was saved. For Meena and the four children, this girl had become their world. He was named Kayanat. Got admission in English medium school. She was studying in first class.
Meena helpless before the law
With the help of Child Line and local police, the girl was recovered from Kayamganj in Farrukhabad. But, a question of law came to the fore as to how this girl should be given to Meena. She is not his mother in law. The adoption process hasn’t even happened. On this question, in December 2021, Child Line presented the girl before the Child Welfare Committee in Agra. From there, in August 2022, the girl child was sent to the children’s home. Meena has been wandering for the last ten months to get the universe.
Innocent worried for mother
On the other hand, the child locked in the nursery is also constantly worried for her mother Meena. She only knows Meena as her mother. Meena told, the child grew up in her lap for eight years, lived among brothers and sisters, she cannot live anywhere else now.
