Uttarakhand: Dhami’s scathing attack on corruption, Vigilance Department given permission to prosecute 5 accused officers and employees

Corruption cases in Uttarakhand have continuously lowered the credibility of the government, on which CM Dhami is now looking strict. CM Dhami is now going to take tough decisions to take action against corrupt officers and employees. In this episode, CM Dhami has given permission to the Vigilance Department to prosecute the accused officers and employees.

In fact, Chief Minister Pushkar Dhami has instructed the Vigilance Department to work better for effective control in cases of bribery and malpractices. Due to which the Vigilance Department is taking action against corruption by identifying and identifying corrupt officers and employees.

Uttarakhand Vigilance Department is also moving forward keeping in mind the zero tolerance policy of the government. In this episode, a major action is being taken in the case of illegal occupation of lands in Mauja Jakhan on Rajpur road. Permission has been given to prosecute two accused in the case, retired Kushal Singh Rana and Rajendra Dabral, under relevant sections.

Apart from this, in the case of demanding bribe for getting the correct report of the land, the accused Mahipal Singh (Lekhpal Laksar) has been asked to prosecute under the Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988. At the same time, permission has been given to register charges against Rajneesh Kumar Pandey, senior storekeeper of Govind Ballabh Pant University of Agriculture and Technology, Pantnagar, in the case of acquiring disproportionate assets.

At the same time, the Vigilance Department has been allowed to investigate the matter of indulging in corruption by misusing the post against Uttarakhand Transport Corporation’s Deputy General Manager Finance Bhupendra Kumar. CM Dhami says that it is the government’s goal to make Devbhoomi Uttarakhand corruption free. Therefore, strict instructions have been issued to make Uttarakhand a corruption-free state.
