Kate Middleton landed on the Wimbeldon court with Roger Federer, also became a ball girl
Princess of Wales Kate Middleton accompanied her tennis idol Roger Federer to the Wimbledon court once again. Kate Middleton, 41, also played a doubles match against the 8-time Wimbledon champion for a documentary on the tournament’s ball boy and ball girl. Kate, who took to the court wearing white gloves, also asked Federer for tips on her serve after playing a rally.
The two stars then attend a training session in which 250 ballboys and ballgirls will be selected to compete in the upcoming championships. Kate, who is patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, said on the spot that Wimbledon is famous for its amazing professional ballboys and ballgirls. It’s incredible to see what happens behind the scenes.
Kate Boleyn– With all the discipline and everything you’ve learned, you’ll be able to take it into so many other parts of your life.
While there, Swiss champion Federer said that he was really impressed with the amount of effort and training it takes to be a ball kid during the championships. I used to be a ball kid in Basel when I was 9 or 10 years old and as I’ve always said, once a ball kid always a ball kid.
