Bihar / Samastipur: The boy ran away before the wedding, the bridegroom took the wedding procession hostage

A shocking case has come to light from Bihar’s Samastipur district. Here the bride and her family were surprised when she saw the groom’s face. After this there was a feeling of deception and people took hostages including the bridegroom. Then the period of compromise started, which lasted for a long time. In fact, the marriage of the son of Rambhajan Sah, a resident of Dumra in Shivajinagar police station area, was fixed in a village in Ujiarpur. After seeing the boy, the date of marriage was fixed and on Friday, the procession reached the bride’s door with much fanfare.

During this, on seeing the bridegroom, the people of the bride’s side lost their senses, because the boy with whom the marriage was fixed, another boy had reached his place as a groom. Then what was there, the debate started with the family members who came with the groom. People started demanding to call the real groom. However, there was no talk between the two sides and the people took the baraatis including the groom hostage.

The real groom ran away from home

During this, the boy’s father told that the son had run away from home after refusing to marry. In the meantime, when the date of the marriage came near, the people who arranged the marriage and the groom’s family decided that the boy’s younger brother should be taken as the bridegroom and taken to the wedding procession. Because of this he did so.

However, the bride’s side recognized him in time and took everyone hostage. After this, a panchayat was called in the morning and there was a demand to call the real groom. However, this could not happen and the procession returned without the bride. However, so far no complaint has been given to the police from the bride’s side in this matter.
