Uttar Pradesh / Bareilly: A person came on a bike posing as a policeman and cheated a young man for money, the police will catch the vehicle number

A few steps away from the outpost on the station road, a young man was cheated of one thousand rupees by showing the police’s arrogance. It is alleged that the fraudster harassed the young man by calling himself a policeman. Said why are you standing so late in the night, you will have to go to the outpost. Then took one thousand rupees saying to leave on the way. On suspicion of cheating, he reached Kotwali and told the whole incident. On the basis of the complaint letter, the Kotwali police has written an FIR on the basis of the motorcycle number.
According to Afsar Khan alias Abran Khan, a resident of Ata Kayasthan in CBganj, he had gone to the station to drop his son Irfan alias Bhura at 12 o’clock on June 22. He was standing near the transformer in front of Hotel Swarn Tower. Then a person came on a motorcycle.
Stirringly said how are you standing here in such a night. Describing himself as a policeman, he talked about running the outpost. Told near the post itself that if you arrange for some money, I will get you released. Told to have only one thousand rupees. On this he took the money and took the bike and went towards the court. During this, he got suspicious and noted down the number of the motorcycle. Inspector Kotwali Himanshu Nigam said that information is being collected about the accused on the basis of motorcycle number.
