Uttarakhand: Around 400 goats died here due to lightning! Animal Husbandry Department is assessing the loss

The havoc of the sky disaster is being seen in Uttarakhand. 400 goats have died due to lightning in Jhuni of Kapkot in Bageshwar district. Due to which the cattle rearer has suffered a lot. Apart from this, roads have been closed due to rain in Kapkot area. Not only this, debris entered people’s homes. Due to which people are facing a lot of problems.
Bageshwar District Disaster Officer Shikha Suyal said that lightning struck the goats of the shepherds at Jhuni Pankhu Top in Kapkot tehsil area. Due to which a lot of damage was reported. As soon as the information was received, the team of Animal Husbandry and Revenue Department reached Jhuni and inspected the opportunity. During the inspection, it has been confirmed that 400 goats died due to lightning on the spot. Due to which the shepherds have suffered heavy losses.
At the same time, Kapkot MLA Suresh Gadiya has instructed the Animal Husbandry Department to assess the loss and take compensation action soon. So that, cattle herders can get some relief. Let us tell you that the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rains in Uttarakhand. Which is proving to be accurate. Today it is raining in many parts of the state. Rivers and drains are flowing in spate, so the roads have been obstructed at many places due to debris.
Please tell that in view of the rain, the Kedarnath Yatra has been stopped. Apart from this, rafting has been banned in Rishikesh. At the same time, waterlogging is being seen in the plains. CM Dhami has instructed the concerned officials to remain on alert mode. People coming on Chardham Yatra have also been asked to take special precautions.
