Uttarakhand: Gold plating case in Kedarnath Temple: BJP said – Temple committee has cleared the situation on the allegations, Congress is defaming the shrines!

Taking a dig at former Congress MLA Manoj Rawat, who accused him of scam in gold plating work in Kedarnath, the BJP said that he needs to put the correct position in front of the public on the Kedarnath disaster and the scams in tourism schemes, because All matters are related to their area and they should not play with the image of religious places.
State BJP spokesperson Bipin Kainthola said that Congress is doing disgusting politics in the matter of making the sanctum sanctorum of Kedarnath temple gold plated. The allegations made by the team that went to Kedarnath under the leadership of former Congress MLA Manoj Rawat in the press conference are misleading and factless. The Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee has given a point-by-point answer to all the allegations made by the Congress leaders so far. Despite this, Congress leaders are trying to tarnish the image of Kedarnath Dham by making unnecessary allegations and counter-allegations.
He said that the Congress leaders are making all kinds of allegations regarding the gold plating of the sanctum sanctorum of Kedarnath temple. But till now no document or proof of this has been kept in front of the public by them. On the contrary, it is clear to the world how the then Congress government distributed the relief amount received for the disaster at the time of Kedarnath disaster. The funds meant for the disaster victims’ share were spent haphazardly.
He alleged that former Congress MLA Manoj Rawat was given lakhs of rupees by the then Harish Rawat government in the name of “Hito-Kedar” campaign. Disaster money was looted in the name of tracking. About 25 lakh rupees were sanctioned in a hurry to an organization named Mountaineers and Trackers Association (MATA) through the tourism department in the name of trekking. Mata Sanstha was registered with the Registrar of Societies on September 22, 2016 and in the same month the Sanstha was given permission to conduct the tracking campaign. Congress leader Manoj Rawat was the president of this organization. In this process the rules and regulations were not followed in any way. On what basis Manoj Rawat’s organization was given this task, who selected the participants and who they were, it is not clear anywhere.
