Uttarakhand: Review meeting with officials of Dhami in Haldwani, strict instructions given on encroachment, asked to be alert in disaster

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haldwani on Tuesday where he held a meeting with the officials at the Circuit House. He said that this season is of monsoon. In such a situation, all the officers should be on the alert regarding the disaster, so that any untoward incident can be stopped on time. Talking to the media, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that DMs and SSCs of all the districts have been instructed by him to be on alert regarding monsoon. It has been asked to keep in touch with the headquarters continuously.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami seems very serious about the safety of the passengers in the Chardham Yatra. He said that an appeal is being made to the pilgrims of Chardham to travel according to the warnings of the Meteorological Department. Safety of passengers is the priority of the government. Instructions have been given by the government to the DMs and SSPs of the respective districts to make the journey to the Char Dham a safe journey. Apart from this, Chief Minister Dhami said about encroachment that encroachment on government land will not be tolerated at all.

He said that about 2700 hectares of encroachment land had been identified, in which about 200 acres of land has been vacated. Apart from this, an appeal has been made to the people to remove the encroachment on the government land on their own, otherwise legal action will be taken. Apart from this, on the frequent road accidents in the state, the Chief Minister said that wherever the roads are damaged, instructions have been issued to repair them. Soon those roads will be fixed.
