A couple was forced to go to a family counseling center after one and a half years of marriage in Agra, Uttar Pradesh. This happened because the wife had put a condition before the husband to leave the father. The wife had placed a condition that the husband should choose either her or his father. Knowing the decision taken by the husband on this condition of the wife, the family and many people present at the counseling center started praising him. The husband said that under no circumstances would he leave his elderly father alone. If there is a problem with the father, the wife can leave him.
According to the report, the case pertains to Rajpur Chungi area located on Shamshabad Road, Agra. The wife is not ready to live with her father-in-law. There is often a dispute between husband and wife regarding this matter. The matter got so bad that the matter reached the point of divorce. In such a situation, the Family Counseling Center tried to settle the matter between husband and wife, but there also the wife put a condition of staying away from her father-in-law. On this, the husband bluntly said that his father raised him by giving him the love of both father and mother. He can never leave her alone at this stage of age.
According to the report, there are only three people in this family, husband-wife and elderly father-in-law. The young man’s mother has passed away long ago. In such a situation, his father took care of his mother as well. The man’s wife is a teacher in a private school. She does not want to live with her father-in-law under any circumstances. She complains that the husband always obeys his father and ignores her words. She wants the husband to leave his father’s house and live with her. While the husband says that after the death of the mother, the father was everything for him. The father also left no stone unturned in his upbringing. In such a situation, when he has become old, then he cannot leave him under any circumstances. The counseling center also tried hard to convince the wife, but she did not agree. Now the Center has advised the couple to come back after a few days and sort out their differences. If the matter is not resolved even further, the wife can leave her husband.
