Uttarakhand: CM spoke on phone to 07 complainants who complained on CM Helpline, instructed the District Magistrates to review the CM Helpline twice a month

All the District Magistrates should review the CM Helpline-1905 twice a month. Secretary and departmental HOD should also review it regularly. The District Magistrate should talk to some complainants on every working day for quick redressal of the complaints received on the CM Helpline. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami gave these instructions to the officers during the review of CM Helpline-1905 at the Secretariat. The Chief Minister will review the CM Helpline 1905 on the last Thursday of every month.

The Chief Minister gave instructions to activate the vigilance establishment fast

The Chief Minister directed that the vigilance establishment should be made active quickly. People should be made more aware about 1064 number for corruption free administration. On receipt of complaints, surprise inspection of the offices should be done by the District Magistrate and SSP in the districts. The Chief Minister also instructed the Vigilance to work strictly. The Chief Minister directed the officers that the departments which have low percentage of redressal of the complaints received on the CM Helpline, should improve it soon. Public grievances should be redressed in a timely manner, all the departments should take it seriously. Strict action will be taken against those who are negligent towards the work. The Chief Minister said that the departments which are doing good work for quick resolution of public problems should also be encouraged. The Chief Minister said that people who are bringing their problems at the district level and the departmental level, it should be ensured that they are resolved quickly.

The area where more public complaints are coming, separate data should be kept

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami directed to ensure that the complaints on the CM Helpline are properly assessed, the complainants do not face unnecessary trouble. The Chief Minister directed that in the next meeting, complete data should also be presented on the percentage of complaints received on the CM Helpline in each district. If more complaints are coming in different departments in any area, then their data should also be kept separately, so that further policy can be formulated for their solution.

During the meeting, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami also spoke to 07 complainants who had lodged complaints regarding various problems on the CM Helpline. Girish Chandra Tiwari of Almora had lodged a complaint that someone else’s bill was showing on his electricity connection. After giving this information to the departmental office, there was no immediate solution. After complaining on the CM helpline, the solution was found after just four days. He also thanked the Chief Minister for this.

Mahendra Pal Singh of Pauri said that he had applied for caste certificate twice, both the forms were rejected. After complaining on the CM helpline, the problem was resolved quickly

Devraj Singh of Tehri Garhwal filed a complaint that ward no. Water is not coming in 01 and 02 due to damage to the drinking water line, due to which about 600 people of the area are being affected. The Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate to send the team of Water Institute and Public Works Department to the spot immediately to solve the problem. He said that all the departments should work in coordination with each other in construction works. It should be ensured that the public does not face unnecessary trouble due to the construction works.

Bhaskar Chandra of Nainital district had lodged a complaint that some people have blocked the way of several years old two wheelers by placing three iron angles in the rain canal culvert on the public road near Belwal Biscuit Factory of Police Station Hiranagar. , he requested to open it. The problem has been resolved after complaining on the CM helpline.

Bala Singh Parihar of Pithoragarh district said that he had lodged a complaint that the pedestrian road from Baram to Kanar and the entire road from Kanar to Tuwaitola had been damaged during the disaster, due to which the villagers were facing problems in commuting. The Chief Minister directed the Pithoragarh District Magistrate to go to the spot and resolve this public issue at the earliest.

Virendra Singh of Chamoli district said that Village Devasthan, Po. The 04 km motorway from Batadhar to Devasthan in Rohida is to be constructed, its survey has been done long ago, but the construction work has not started yet. The Chief Minister instructed the District Magistrate Chamoli that efforts should be made to solve all the problems being faced in road construction at the earliest.

Naveen Chandra Bhatt of Champawat said that he has not yet received his medical claim, he has complained about it several times to the Employees’ State Insurance Dispensary, but the problem has not been resolved yet. Chief Minister Secretary R.K. Instructed Meenakshi Sundaram to investigate the matter and resolve it soon.
