Congress state president Karan Mahara has slammed the government regarding monsoon and disaster management. He said that only work is being done to create atmosphere inside the state in order to garner discussion. Right now only the monsoon has knocked, but all the claims of dealing with the monsoon in the state have been exposed.
Karan Mahara targeted the double engine government
Congress state president Karan Mahara said that Rs 1537 crore has been spent in the name of making a smart city. Seeing the kind of situation that is being created inside the state now, it is a matter of concern that if a disaster-like situation arises, how will we be able to deal with it. He said that from the government to the administration, they will be left watching as mute spectators, because the double engine government has brought the entire Uttarakhand to the brink of destruction.
BJP accused of ignoring
Congress state president said that the monsoon has arrived, but there is no preparation of the Bharatiya Janata Party. From Dehradun, the capital of Uttarakhand to the entrance of Kumaon, the whole city has been dug up and due to this many accidents are also happening. He said that a boy had died a few days ago in Dehradun, because roads have been dug up at many places in the city, no one is going to see them. If this condition remains, then it is the time of rains, the people of Uttarakhand are running on God’s faith, because no work can be done during the rainy days. Therefore, in the city, wherever the roads are carved, they will remain as they are.
