Justice SK Kaul (S. K. Kaul) and Justice Sudhanshu Dhulia’s bench asked the Delhi government to file an affidavit in 2 weeks. The court said that it should contain the details of the expenditure incurred on advertisement during the last 3 financial years.

The Supreme Court on Monday expressed displeasure at the Delhi government over the delay in work on the Delhi-Meerut Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS) project. The court made a stern comment saying that you have money for advertisements but why don’t you have money for a project that will provide better facilities to the people.
The court then directed the Delhi government to furnish details of its expenditure on advertisements for RRTS in the last three financial years.
