Two Class VIII students poisoned their class leader in Tamil Nadu’s Salem district. Both were upset as to why the class leader complained about them not completing their homework. According to information received from police sources, the incident took place at Sankagiri Government School on Friday. The teacher had given homework to all the students. Two students did not complete it. The class leader informed the teacher about the matter. Due to this the teacher punished both the students. This angered both the students.
Both the students hatch a sinister plan to take revenge on the class leader. They secretly mixed poison in the class leader’s water bottle. The victim student drank contaminated water during the lunch break. Finding the water test strange, he threw the remaining water in his mouth, but by then some water had gone down his throat.
When the teacher inquired, the students accepted the crime
The victim student gave the contaminated water to his friend to drink. He also found the water test strange. After this he went to the class teacher and complained. The class teacher found that the water had been adulterated. When he strictly inquired, both the accused students confessed their crime. After this, the victim student was immediately taken to the hospital.
The headmaster of the school informed the police about the incident. Police got the water tested in the lab. It was found that poisonous substance has been mixed in the water. After this, the police registered a case under section 328 of the IPC.
