Uttarakhand: Vinay Shankar Pandey took charge of Garhwal Commissioner, said this on the displeasure of IAS Saurabh Gaharwar

After the retirement of Garhwal Commissioner Sushil Kumar, Vinay Shankar Pandey has been given the additional charge of Garhwal Commissioner. Today the newly appointed Garhwal Commissioner Vinay Shankar Pandey has taken charge. During this, he talked about keeping the arrangements for Chardham and Kanwar Yatra in Garhwal region in check. Along with this, he also denied the news of DM Saurabh Gaharwar’s resignation. On the other hand, Saurabh Gaharwar has taken over as Rudraprayag DM.

Vinay Shankar Pandey has taken over as the new commissioner of Garhwal. Vinay Shankar Pandey is also currently the secretary to Chief Minister Dhami. After taking office, he also told his priorities. He said that his first priority is the Chardham Yatra and the Kanwar Yatra starting tomorrow. Along with this, the rainy season is also going on, so no highway should be closed, this will be the main priority.

He further told that in such a season, priority will be fixed to diagnose any ration and health related problems. He told that the Kanwar Yatra is starting from tomorrow. Last year, more than 4 crore people had reached the Kanwar Yatra. This year more people are expected to come than this. People should go back with a good experience from here, this will be our priority.

Vinay Shankar Pandey said that he himself would visit Haridwar to see the arrangements and take stock of the development works there. Many schemes are going on in Uttarakhand. His priority is that all these schemes reach the people and people can get benefit from it. Because, this is also the dream of Chief Minister Dhami. He further told that there should be no corruption in any department in the state, it will also be ensured.

The Garhwal Commissionerate Headquarters is at Pauri. In such a situation, he will sit in Pauri for about 10 days in a month. So that the people of the mountain do not face any kind of problem. At the same time, he said that Saurabh Gaharwar, the new District Magistrate of Rudraprayag, has taken over. Misleading propaganda is being spread about them in the social media, which is totally wrong. There is no displeasure with his rule. He has been given an important responsibility, under which he will seriously look after all the projects of Kedarnath.
