Chinese officials have warned of extreme heatwaves and other disasters in the coming months. At present, China has suffered a lot due to heavy rains. Thousands of people had to leave their homes and move to safer places.

China has suffered significant damage due to the floods, following which Chinese President Xi Jinping has instructed government officials to give top priority to security and property. Xi asked the state ministries of flood control and emergency management and water resources to work together in close coordination and consultation.
Alert issued in cities due to heavy rain
According to Chinese media, the alert was issued on Tuesday due to heavy rains in central and southwestern China. The Meteorological Department has warned of several natural calamities like floods, thunderstorms and high temperatures in July. Torrential rains on Tuesday damaged a railway bridge in the metropolitan city of Chongqing. More than 400 emergency workers were dispatched to repair the bridge. The rains have affected 460,000 people in Sichuan.
The official said that 10,000 people have been evacuated from their homes to safer places due to floods in central Henan province. More than 2,000 houses were damaged in the flood. Dozens of houses and roads were destroyed by torrential rains in Shaanxi province.
Scientists told the reason for rising temperature
Scientists have attributed the main reason for the rising temperature to fossil fuels. He said that this fuel is worsening the weather conditions all over the world. Several countries have experienced deadly heatwaves in the past few weeks.
Floods have occurred in China amidst heavy heat. The National Meteorological Department warned residents of the capital Beijing to stay indoors as temperatures soared to 35 degrees Celsius. An average temperature of 4.1 days per month has been recorded in China this year. According to Chinese media, if the temperature in Beijing exceeds 35 degrees for 14 days in June, it will match the record of July 2000.
