Uttarakhand: Dengue outbreak increasing in Dehradun, DM issued these instructions for school children

Seeing the increasing outbreak of dengue in Dehradun, the district administration has become alert. In view of this, the Dehradun District Magistrate has made full sleeve shirts and full pants mandatory for school children.

Dehradun’s DM Sonika has written a letter to the Chief Education Officer giving instructions to strictly follow the order. In the letter, the DM said that measures to prevent dengue and chikungunya should be told to the students daily in the assembly.

Please tell that so far 22 cases of dengue have been reported in Dehradun. Dengue patients are being found daily for the last few days. After which the district administration has become alert.

Instructions given to run fogging campaign
Dehradun District Magistrate Sonika has directed the Municipal Corporation to conduct an effective cleanliness and fogging campaign to prevent dengue and chikungunya. Apart from this, by forming a joint team of Asha, Anganwadi, Municipal Corporation, along with destroying dengue larvae, instructions were issued to run awareness programs.
