Uttarakhand: Dhami took feedback from Kanwariyas about the arrangements made by the administration

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached Haridwar last day. Here he first washed the feet of the Kanwariyas in the camp near Om Pul. Also welcomed them. After which CM Dhami did a surprise inspection of Kanwar track at Shankaracharya Chowk, Haridwar. Along with this, CM Dhami took feedback about the arrangements made by the administration from the kanwariyas who came from different states. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also felicitated the Kanwariyas by showering flowers on them.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami interacted with Kanwariyas from different parts of the country and inquired about their well-being. The Chief Minister also took feedback from them about the various arrangements made by the government. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami inspected the temporary medical camp located at Shankaracharya Chowk. He directed the officers to ensure that adequate arrangements related to the health of the Kavadis are made at various places. Along with this, CM Dhami also talked about taking special care of cleanliness at every place of Kanwar track.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami while welcoming the kanwariyas who came to Uttarakhand from different states of the country said that Haridwar is the center of reverence for the whole country. This holy place has special blessings of Mother Ganga and Lord Bholenath. Kanwar Yatra has special significance in the month of Shravan. The state government has got the privilege of welcoming the Kanwariyas. By making the Kanwar Yatra easy and safe, the government is working as an ally of the Kanwariyas in this journey. Serving the Kanwaris is a work of virtue for all.

Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that the state government has made adequate arrangements for health camps, toilets, parking, teen sheds, rest places at various places for the Kanwar Yatra. This year the arrangements have been improved more than last year. He said that last year about four crore Kanwariyas came to Uttarakhand in the Kavad Yatra. By the grace of Lord Bholenath, last year’s yatra was completed successfully. He said that this year also a large number of kanwariyas are expected to come to Uttarakhand. For which the administration is fully prepared. During this, MP Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, MLA Madan Kaushik, former cabinet minister Swami Yatishwaranand, MLA Adesh Chauhan, former MLA Sanjay Gupta and others were present in the programme.
