In such a situation only the parents of the children are going to pick them up and drop them to school. In this regard, a joint report was submitted to the Deputy District Magistrate by Revenue Sub-Inspector Nandalsyun and Block Education Officer Pauri in view of the safety of the children. Now, on the request of Deputy District Magistrate, District Magistrate Dr. Ashish Chauhan has declared holiday on July 10 in Government Primary School, Government Girls Upper Primary School as well as Anganwadi Center located in Chandola Rai village. Not only this, the District Magistrate has also instructed the Garhwal Forest Division to install cages in the area to catch Guldar.

Forest department increased night patrolling

The forest department has increased night patrolling in view of incidents of Guldar being seen in Pauri city and its adjoining areas and security. Apart from this, cages have also been installed in many places. The department’s team is increasing patrolling in those areas from where Guldar is more likely to enter the populated areas. Night patrolling by forest personnel has been increased in Mandakhal, Buakhal as well as Kandolia, Ransi etc. areas. Forest Officer Lalit Mohan told that in such a time it is necessary for the common people to be careful. It is said that a cage has been installed on the road leading to Ransi in the city. At present, since the appearance of Guldar in the city and its adjoining areas these days, there is panic among the people.
