Chardham pilgrims should pay attention, now traffic will be closed on the route from eight in the night to five in the morning

Char Dham Yatra, Hemkund Sahib Yatra and Kanwar Yatra are being conducted amidst the rains. Meanwhile, there is great news for the pilgrims coming on Chardham Yatra. Traffic on the Char Dham Yatra route will remain closed from eight in the night to five in the morning.

Chardham Yatra Marg will remain closed from 8 am to 5 am
Due to heavy rains, the administration has banned movement on the Chardham Yatra route from eight in the night to five in the morning for security reasons. During this, traffic will remain closed on Rishikesh-Badrinath, Rudraprayag-Gaurikund, Kund-Ukhimath-Chopta-Mandal-Gopeshwar Highway and Gangotri-Yamunotri Highway. However, the movement of emergency and military vehicles will remain smooth during this period.

Landslide and landslide zone active on Chardham Marg
Due to the rains in the state, life from the mountains to the plains is disrupted. Due to heavy rains, incidents of landslides are coming to the fore in the mountains. Due to which more than 241 roads of the state are closed.

Due to the activation of falling stones, landslides and landslides on the Chardham Yatra route, it has been decided that vehicles will ply on this route only from 5 am to 8 pm.

Decision taken for the safety of passengers
