Delhi: Yamuna river flowing above the danger mark, Delhi CM Kejriwal called a meeting

Incessant rains in the capital Delhi have thrown life out of gear. At the same time, due to increase in the water level of Yamuna river, the river is flowing above the danger mark. The water level of the Yamuna river was recorded at 203.33 meters at the Old Railway Bridge in the capital today at 8 am. The warning level of the river is 204.50 metres.
The administration has started setting up tents in the upper area for the people on Sunday evening itself. People doing agriculture in the Yamuna Khadar area have been asked to keep an eye on the water. The work of sending people living in the vicinity of Yamuna to other places safely has been started.
16 control rooms built in Delhi
16 control rooms have been set up inside Delhi, where 24-hour monitoring is being done with the help of CCTV cameras. The Delhi government is making arrangements for food and accommodation for the people living in the river area.
Water flowing above warning level
At the same time, the warning level of Yamuna water near the old iron bridge is 204.5 meters, which was measured up to 203.57 meters on Sunday. In such a situation, vigilance is being taken by keeping a constant vigil there.
Delhi CM called a meeting
In view of the situation in the city due to incessant heavy rains in Delhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal called a meeting at the Secretariat in the afternoon. Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj, Atishi and concerned officials will attend the meeting. The increase in the level of Yamuna river will also be discussed in the meeting.
