The husband got his wife married to her lover. Both had got married just a fortnight ago. On the pretext of attending nephew’s birthday, the newly married woman had reached her lover’s house. In the presence of maternal and in-laws, both held each other’s hands. A girl from Rampur Karkhana police station area of Deoria was married to a youth from Kushinagar district on June 24 as per Hindu customs. Even before marriage, the girl has a love affair with a young man from the village. Just 10 days after the marriage, she told her in-laws about her nephew’s birthday and left for her maternal home. She did not come to her maternal home and reached her lover’s house. Two days back, the in-laws asked the parents about the arrival of the married woman. On hearing this, the senses of the parents were blown away. Both the parties started searching for him and on not finding him, informed the Rampur Karkhana police.
On Saturday, the policemen reached the lover’s house. At first he kept denying but on strict questioning by the police, he accepted the fact of being in the girl’s house. After hard work with the help of women policemen, the police recovered the married woman. The police brought the lover and the girl to the police station.
After the panchayat which lasted till 12 midnight, the husband decided to unite the two. In the presence of parents and in-laws, the lover and the newly married couple hold each other’s hand. The police allowed both of them to go together on the matter of court marriage. After this, the people of maternal and in-laws side returned home after making a written agreement.
Both the parties entered into an agreement, the court marriage certificate will have to be submitted to the police station.
Inspector-in-charge Narendra Pratap Rai said that the girl’s parents and in-laws have made a pact with each other. The young man and the newly married have now been asked to submit the certificate to the police station after getting the court marriage done.

Like actor Ajay Devgan introduces his wife to her lover in the film, similarly in this case the husband gets his wife married to her lover. Although in the film, actress Aishwarya Rai does not marry Salman and returns to her husband Ajay Devgan, but this does not happen here.
