Bihar / Chhapra: Two wives together stabbed husband with knife, had done second marriage 6 months back, went to village from Delhi on Bakrid

In Chhapra district, two wives together killed their husbands. The deceased was earning his livelihood by living in Delhi. He had come to his house on the occasion of Bakrid. As soon as the information was received, the police arrested both the accused women. Investigation of the matter has also been started. Alamgir Ansari (45 years), a resident of Bedwaliya Raipura of Bheldi police station area of the district, was first married about 10 years ago. Wife Salma is a resident of Chintamanganj village under Garkha police station area of Saran district. But soon after the marriage, there was a rift with Alamgir’s first wife. Because of this Salma left her husband and started living in another place. On the other hand, last 6 months ago, Alamgir went to Delhi and got married to Amina, a resident of Bengal.
The relatives of the deceased told that Alamgir’s first wife Salma had reached Delhi a few days ago. From where she brought her sister-in-law i.e. husband’s second wife Ameena to her maternal home Chintamanganj. Both were living there together.
Meanwhile, Alamgir, who lives in Delhi, came to his village on the occasion of Bakrid. On getting the information, on the afternoon of July 9, both the wives together reached Alamgir’s house i.e. their in-laws’ house. There was a dispute between the three about something.
During this dispute, Salma took out a knife and fatally attacked her husband Alamgir. Alamgir was badly injured in the attack. Somehow his relatives brought Alamgir to Garkha PHC for treatment. But seeing his serious condition, the doctor directly referred him to PMCH. Alamgir died on the way while going to PMCH.
On receiving the information, the police reached after taking possession of the body and sent it to Chhapra Sadar Hospital for postmortem. At the same time, taking quick action, Salma and Ameena were arrested for the murder of Alamgir.
Bheldi SHO Santosh Kumar said that an FIR has been registered in this matter. Both the wives have been arrested. The incident is being investigated.
On the other hand, Marhaura DSP Naresh Paswan told about this incident that both the wives have been accused by the relatives of the deceased of stabbing her husband to death in Bedwalia. Police has arrested both of them. The reasons for the incident are being ascertained.
