Last evening, 50 km ahead of Joshimath, a huge boulder came on the bridge due to the breaking of the glacier, due to which the Jumma Bridge was washed away in the drain. Due to the collapse of this bridge, the contact of Niti Valley with the rest of the country and the world has been cut off. The movement of army personnel going here has stopped.
Chamoli district administration told
While giving information on Tuesday, the Chamoli district administration said that “due to the bridge being washed away in the sudden flood, the motor vehicles of Kaga, Garpak, Dronagiri, Jellum, Kosa, Malari, Mahargaon, Kailashpur, Prakiya, Bampa, Gamshali and Neeti villages beyond Jumma village.” Contact lost.
