Uttarakhand: The governor reached the disaster control room amidst the red alert, took information about the weather conditions in the state, said – this is the time to be alert all the time

The torrential rains in Uttarakhand are not taking the name of stopping. In this sequence, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy to very heavy rain in the state for the next four days. The effect of which is visible across the state. Governor Riley General Gurmeet Singh made a surprise inspection of the Disaster Operation Center to take stock of the situation in the state. During this, along with taking information about the conditions of the state, the Governor also gave all the guidelines.
According to the information received, for the first time in the state, the Governor reached the Disaster Control Room and inquired about the situation in the state. Along with this, information about the work being done was also taken from the officers of all the departments present in the control room. During this, the Governor said that technology has been put to good use in the control room. We are ready to face any challenge. He said that disaster remains a big challenge along with Chardham Yatra, Kanwar Yatra. So, it is time to be alert all the time.
The Governor said that he has seen the Integrated Disaster Management System. The purpose of coming here was to see the work being done from here. It was a pleasure to see the way work is being done here as a team work. During the inspection, inquired about the kind of preparations to deal with the challenges of monsoon and young Himalayas. All kinds of information is available in this system. Therefore, there is a need for everyone to be alert.
