Police has arrested the youth who looted Rs 24.89 lakh in Yes Bank on July 6. 11 lakh looted from him have also been recovered. The policemen were also stunned after hearing the disclosure made by the robber during interrogation. The youth who carried out the robbery is a TTE in the Railways. To rob the bank, he first bought a plastic pistol (toy) for Rs.50. Robbed the bank with the help of the same toy.

Sikar Sikar SP Karan Sharma disclosed the bank robbery on Wednesday. He told- Yes Bank manager Pradeep Dhatarwal had registered the case on July 6. It was said that between 11 am to 11:30 am, a miscreant came to the bank. Asked about his branch manager. At that time only Pradeep was present in the bank. First, the crook asked the bank manager about the two wheeler loan. After this he took out a letter from his bag to Pradeep. It was written in it that branch manager sir, you are also a child and there is a bomb and a gun inside this bag. Give me all the hair. After this the manager called and called his staff there. After this, out of fear, the bank employees gave Rs 24.89 lakh kept in the safe to the miscreant. The accused fled away by locking the gate of the bank. After this the bank employees opened the gate with the second key kept inside the bank and informed the people around and the police.

CCTV footage searched

Sikar SP Karan Sharma and IG Umesh Chandra Dutta inspected the spot after the incident which happened in broad daylight on the highway. Police checked footage of hundreds of CCTV cameras in Fatehpur and several nearby villages in search of the accused. In this, an Alto vehicle was seen coming and going several times. From this, the police got a clue that the accused is probably a resident of the local area. At the same time, before robbing the bank, the accused wanted to do a similar incident in the branch of Union Bank in Fatehpur itself. Here he took his car. During this, the accused had a cloth tied over his mouth. In the branch of Union Bank, the accused told himself to be an employee of the head office. When the staff asked him for ID card and other information, he fled from there. On Wednesday, the police was engaged in search of the accused. A suspicious vehicle was seen coming from Dadia area. The police immediately stopped the vehicle and arrested Mukesh Garhwal (34) resident of Garhwal Ki Dhani Yalsar. Mukesh was with his wife. He was bringing his wife back from Pihar. When the police interrogated the accused, a shocking revelation came to light. The accused told that he had a toy gun of Rs 50 to 100 pressed in his pants to scare the bank employees.

According to the police, Mukesh is a TTE in the Railways. He has not gone on duty for the last 6 months. Was worried about not getting salary. A case has been registered against the accused for murderous attack on Nawalgarh station master at Sikar’s GRP station and theft of laptop, mobile at GRP Jaipur station. The accused has also spent three months in jail for assaulting the station master. Mukesh has told the police during interrogation that both his kidney and liver are bad. He is a habitual drunkard. Mukesh is on the job instead of his father. The father of the accused has arthritis. 11 lakhs have been recovered from the vehicle of the accused. Police is interrogating the accused about the remaining looted amount.

SP said – 26 years in service, never seen such loot

SP Karan Sharma told that it has been almost 26 years since I was working. Till date, I have not seen any such loot in which someone was looted with a toy gun. Not only this, on first seeing the CCTV in this whole matter, the bank employees also seemed suspicious. However, nothing like this has come to the fore in the investigation so far. Troubled by the financial crisis, the accused looted.
