Uttarakhand: BJP held a press conference regarding Agniveer Yojana, Kothiyal said – Youth will get quadruple opportunities through Agniveer Yojana, Congress is spreading confusion

The BJP has described the Agniveer Yojana as a way to increase military capability, create aware citizens and give four-fold opportunities to the youth. With the party running a public awareness campaign on the subject, it has accused the opposition of misleading the youth under its anti-national policy. Addressing a press conference held at the party headquarters, State Spokesperson Col. Ajay Kothiyal expressed satisfaction over the completion of 1 year 1 month 1 day of Agniveer Yojana and said that this scheme with the objectives of creating more capable jawans and aware citizens for the country It is proving to provide quadruple employment opportunities for the youth. He told that it has been only one year since the start of this scheme and hence its maximum result will come forward. He elaborated that by reducing the average age of the army, this scheme is going to increase the capacity of the Indian Army. Salary during the service and lump sum amount given later will prove beneficial for the youth. Along with this, after 4 years, they will get reservation in state and central government jobs and the efficiency and lump sum amount received from the army will prove to be helpful in their self-employment. He said that this scheme is moving forward with the aim of making strong army and best citizens.

Colonel Kothiyal pointed out that this scheme is creating four times the employment opportunities as Agniveer by carrying forward 25 per cent of the army after a period of 4 years, without cutting down on the strength of the army.

He clarified that the scheme is in its nascent stage and the training of the first batch has just been completed. Despite this, important changes are being made on the basis of its circumstances, needs and experiences. In this, in addition to the predetermined 6 months training, 7 weeks advance training is being given separately to increase their ability to work in each weather and conditions. Serious consideration is being given to increasing the limit of promotion of Agniveer in the army from 25% to 50%. He also termed as unnecessary the concern that youths with arms training may go on the wrong path. Emphasizing that we have full faith in the training of our army and the youth of the country. Trained youth will prove to be helpful in nation building and security.

In a press conference, answering the question asked by the media about the self-respect journey of the Congress, State Working Committee member Shaurya Doval said that these are the people who never made any effort for the betterment of the army and the country while in power and today the country and We oppose every work that is started for the strength of the countrymen. He alleged that without any factual information, technical knowledge and practical experiences regarding the Agniveer Yojana, the Congress has started trying to mislead the youth only and only for political gains. Advising the Congress, he said, this scheme has been brought after a long discussion of big experts, it still needs to be given time and there is scope for improvement based on experiences.

State media in-charge Manveer Singh Chauhan, who conducted the press conference, informed that with the aim of spreading maximum information about Agniveer Yojana among the public, massive public awareness campaigns will be conducted across the party state. He said that it has become a habit of the Congress to oppose the good works started in the state or the country. The party is going to organize various programs and press talks across the state as the public knows these antics of the Congress. Actually this incident is of 3rd August. Where Herbertpur police got information about a fire in a house in Rambagh area. When the police reached the spot, they found the burnt body of an old woman inside. The owner of the house, Sanjay Singh Rana, identified the body as his wife Suresho Devi alias Vandana Rana. Earlier it seemed that the woman died due to burning in the fire but the investigation revealed the case of murder. In such a situation, today the police has arrested him. Murdered mother when he did not get money for drugs The next day of the incident, the husband of the deceased, Sanjay Singh, while giving a complaint to the police, told that his son Manmohan Singh used to live with his mother. He was addicted to drugs and often used to demand money from his mother. There used to be a lot of quarrel between the two when the mother refused. The father told that Manmohan was missing from home since the incident. After which, he expressed doubt that maybe his son had committed the murder and set the room on fire. The police already suspected the son The police immediately registered a case against the son and started investigation. After which, on the night of 14 August, the police arrested Manmohan Singh from Kulhal area. During interrogation, Manmohan Singh confessed his crime. He told that he has been addicted to drugs for a long time. He has already gone to jail in drug smuggling and Arms Act cases. On the day of the incident, he had asked his mother for money for drugs. But his mother refused to give him money and also did not let him go out of the house. He fled with the money after the murder After which, Manmohan Singh, in anger, attacked his mother’s neck with a wooden stick kept in the house. Due to which she died on the spot. After the murder, Manmohan Singh wrapped the body in a mattress and set it on fire so that it appeared that the woman died due to burning. Manmohan fled on a motorcycle with 30 thousand rupees kept in the cupboard of the house and his clothes.
