Uttarakhand: BJP will celebrate Harela festival for one week in the state, Bhatt has given target of planting 20 saplings to every worker.
BJP is going to celebrate cultural festival Harela in a big way for the next one week. Under which each worker will plant 20 saplings. Apart from this, the status of last year’s plantation will be uploaded on social media. Talking to reporters at the party headquarters, State President Mahendra Bhatt said that Harela festival is a sacred festival of cultural and environmental promotion of Uttarakhand. The aim of the party is to take forward such social, religious and civilizational festivals with maximum public participation. In this sequence, on the occasion of Harela festival, a massive tree plantation campaign will be conducted for a week from 16-17 July. In this campaign, each worker has been given a target of planting a minimum of 20 trees.
Along with this, seeing the current condition of the trees planted in the previous years, a request has been made to upload their photos and information on social media. He told that in the past years, tree plantation was done in the forest land and Atal, Modi Vatika was made by the workers. This year, after taking information about the old plantation there, new saplings will be planted there, along with public participation in private land and other public places, this campaign will be made more and more successful.
