Uttarakhand: Not even afraid of strict law? The land mafia and the gang of employees were changing the registry from the record room, orders were issued to file the report

In connivance with the staff of the registrar’s office and the land mafia, the gang of changing and disappearing the original registry was being operated inside the record room. After some cases surfaced in the public hearing, District Magistrate Sonika set up an inquiry and the gang was exposed. It was revealed in the investigation that by changing the real registry in the record room, instead of it, the land mafia was including fake documents in the records according to their own. Due to this many people had lost their ownership rights from their ancestral lands. It was revealed in the administrative investigation that the game of benefiting the land mafia was going on for years by tampering with fake sales, donation letters, records. Orders have been given to file reports against the accused in all the four cases caught in the investigation by ADM Finance.

The power of attorney of 60 bighas of land was

In the last fortnight, a woman complained to DM Sonika in a public hearing program alleging that the documents of her ancestral land have been changed in the records of the registry office itself. Because of this she has been deprived of her land. Similarly, in another case, Makhan Singh, a resident of Nagariya Tehsil Puranpur of Pilibhit, claimed that Premlal, an IAS, had given him the power of attorney of 60 bighas of land.
On this basis this land is theirs. When a total of four such cases seemed suspicious, the DM handed over the investigation to ADM Administration Dr. SK Baranwal. In the investigation, he found that the game of changing the original registry is going on in the record room of the registrar’s office. Registry is being changed in volumes.

People involved in the case are being identified

During investigation, in all the four cases, fake registries were found to be included in the records. ADM Finance Ramji Lal Sharma said that attempts were being made to capture ceiling land, additional declared land and many other properties including tea garden, enemy property by showing ownership rights through fake papers. The people involved in this episode are being identified. Orders have been given to file a report against all of them.

ADM Finance Ramji Lal Sharma said that the process of land ownership or possession has been immediately stopped in all the documents which have been proved to be fake in the records or which seem to be suspicious. Effective legal action is being taken against those involved in such cases.
