Madhya Pradesh: “I am not dead, I am alive…” A ‘dead man’ has been crying out for 4 years!

‘I am not dead… I am alive…’ For the last 4 years, a victim has been making this request by going to the threshold of all the administrative officers, but he is not being heard anywhere. It is a dead agreement on paper. Because of this other people have encroached upon his land. At present, he has demanded justice from the SP. The black act of former sarpanch of Rampurwa village located in Mangawa of Rewa district has come to the fore. The victim, who reached the SP office late on Saturday, told the story of the vandalism that happened to him. In fact, the victim made many serious allegations against the former sarpanch of the village. The victim says- The former sarpanch killed me alive and grabbed my 5 acres of land by making a fake death certificate. The victim complained about the matter to many big administrative officials but till now no help has been given to him in the helpless system. To prove himself alive, he has been going round the administrative offices pleading for justice for the last 4 years.
Wife also supported
This shocking case pertains to Ram Purva village of Mangawan tehsil. Former sarpanch Shakuntala Patel and her husband Ramesh Patel usurped 5 acres of land of village Lal Patel in 2019. To grab the land, the former sarpanch first prepared a fake death certificate of the victim, Ballad Lal. Then pushed him and showed him the way out of the village. Not only this, Ball Lala’s wife also supported the former sarpanch in this black act. The homeless victim Lal Patel owns about 18 acres of land, out of which 5 acres of land has been grabbed by the former sarpanch, her husband and the victim’s wife together.
Wife runs away from home
After the land grab, Ball Lal Patel became homeless from his own house. He complained about the matter to the authorities at the local level, but only got disappointed. After this, the victim started coming out to do hard work. He went to his home several times, but his wife used to scare him away from the house. In 2022, the victim sought help from the present Sarpanch Vansh Gopal Patel and complained about the matter to the collector, but only assurance was received from there too. From 2019 till now, the victim has visited the administrative offices several times, but his problem has not been resolved yet.
Investigation handed over to police officer
Superintendent of Police Vivek Singh said that the complaint of the complainant has been received on the matter. The victim said that his death certificate has been made in a fake way and on receipt of the complaint of the applicant illegally earned some profit from him, the investigation of the case has been handed over to the SDOP. If found, legal action will be taken. If there is truth in the incident, then it comes under the category of crime. Action will be taken on the matter accordingly.
