Mahara said that for the last one and a quarter years, the Agniveer Yojana has broken the dream of the youth of the state to become a soldier. They are being cheated in the name of Agniveer. On hearing the news that Rahul Gandhi is coming to Uttarakhand to oppose this scheme, the BJP is in complete panic.

Mahara said that the Congress has been opposing this scheme since day one. The party believes that the Agniveer Yojana is a fraud not only on the youth but also on the country.
