In the past, CM Dhami did a surprise inspection of the Doon Collectorate Record Room. During this, CM Dhami had found many irregularities here. After which CM Dhami reprimanded the DM. Now CM Dhami has ordered a timely, detailed and thorough investigation of the forgery that took place here. For which a 3-member high-level Special Investigation Team (SIT) will be constituted.

In this SIT in which there will be a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service, Registration Department. In the records, it should be constituted by including a senior officer and a senior police officer or any other knowledgeable and qualified person/officer. CM Dhami immediately gave instructions for strict arrangements for the security of the records related to forgery of sales letters caught in Dehradun district.

Let us tell you that on Saturday, CM Dhami had conducted a surprise inspection amid reports of disturbances in files in the deputy registrar’s office and archives. During the inspection, CM Dhami had reprimanded the District Magistrate and other concerned officials present on the spot. Inspection, maintenance, security standards, measures to prevent destruction of files were not found as per the standards. Serious negligence was found in the process of entering the document room and obtaining copies.
After which CM Dhami ordered a thorough investigation into the forgery done in the records. For which a 3-member SIT was formed. In which a senior officer of the Registration Department, a senior officer of the Indian Administrative Service and a senior police officer along with any other competent person/officer will be included.
