Uttarakhand: Bhatt told the insensitivity of Congress’s political visits during the disaster, termed Harda’s visit to the flood area as “farce”

Targeting the self-respect journey of the Congress, the BJP said that instead of helping the needy in the calamity, the political journey is unfortunate. Senior leaders always make a mockery of the seriousness of the flood and the irresponsible attitude of the party in the midst of a disaster. State President Mahendra Bhatt while answering the questions of the media said that 1.25 crore people of the state are neither taking the Congress leaders nor their political visits seriously. He said that there should not be any misunderstanding, because Congress has the most need to be afraid of Rahul’s arrival. The crown prince of Congress has come to the state many times before. The results of 2017 and 2022 assembly elections and 2014 and 2019 Lok Sabha elections are in front of everyone. Congress’s experience with him so far shows that whenever he comes, only BJP benefits.

Accusing the Congress of doing irresponsible politics, Bhatt said that on the one hand, its senior leader, former CM Harish Rawat, sits on a chair above the water and creates a farce on the problem of floods, on the other hand, his party is engaged in political travel during this disaster. Like their promises and announcements, their yatras are nothing more than an attempt to remain in the limelight.

He said that the Congress has announced more than half a dozen different political yatras in bulk this year, out of which it was not even known about the commencement of some and the completion of most of them. The people of the state are standing with Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on all the issues on which he announces the yatra. Be it the matter of giving jobs to the youth through a transparent and honest recruitment process under the shadow of the strictest anti-copying law, strict legal action taken in all the cases including the tragic Ankita, thwarting those conspiring to change the demography of Devbhoomi with the strict conversion law, bringing UCC in line with the public sentiment or quadruple employment opportunities being provided to the youth of the state through the Agniveer Yojana, the BJP is moving forward on issues of public concern.
