Uttarakhand: Disaster relief control room suddenly arrived in Dhami, took update of flood rains and landslides, appealed again to Chardham pilgrims

The process of heavy rain is continuing in Uttarakhand since Monday afternoon. Due to incessant heavy rains and landslides at various places, normal life has once again become disrupted. There are reports of disaster from different parts of the state.

Rain continues in Uttarakhand for 24 hours

Due to continuous rains for the last 24 hours, many roads have been blocked. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami did a surprise inspection of the Disaster Control Operation Center to know the conditions of the state. During this inspection, CM Dhami got to know the actual situation of the disaster in the state from the officials and employees of the operational center.

CM Dhami reached disaster control room

Actually, due to continuous heavy rains in the state, all the roads have been damaged. Along with this, flood situation persists in Haridwar district as well. Not only this, there have also been incidents of landslides at some places in the mountainous areas. In such a situation, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami reached the disaster control room to know about the situation in the state. He took information from the higher officials of the disaster department regarding the continuous heavy rains in the state. Along with this, the officials were also instructed to keep an eye on the situation in the state as well as to remain alert for relief and rescue.

After inspecting the disaster relief control room, CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said that we are keeping an eye on the disaster situation. We are coordinating with each other. We have also talked to the people of all the districts. Everyone is on alert mode. We are telling the pilgrims coming to Chardham to start their journey only after getting the update on the weather.

CM Dhami himself has taken command of disaster relief

In view of the situation prevailing in the state after the monsoon rains, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami himself has taken over the command. This is the reason that due to heavy rains, he is not only taking stock of the situation in the state after reaching the disaster control room, but has also been seen getting down on the ground to take stock of the situation. Due to the disaster, the situation in the state should not be worse than expected, that is why the Chief Minister himself is doing the work of giving a big message to the Ministers, MLAs and officers by getting down on the ground. So that not only the officers but also the people’s representatives come down to the ground and play an important role in the rescue operations.
