Delhi: Beedi has become the enemy of life! murder due to beedi
A youth was stabbed to death by a miscreant after he refused to give bidi to him in Shahbad Dairy area of outer-north Delhi. During the attack, the accused also attacked his female friend present with the youth with a knife. Later the accused absconded. After registering the case, the police arrested the accused. The deceased has been identified as Sanjay Mishra (35), a resident of Shahabad Dairy. Sanjay’s friend Shobha, who was injured in the attack, was discharged from the hospital after treatment. The accused arrested on the charge of murder has been identified as Satyavan (20). The police have also recovered the knife used in the incident from the accused.
Knife attack for not giving beedi
In the interrogation of the police, accused Satyawan has told that at the time of the incident, he was passing near Mahadev Chowk, Sanskriti Apartment. During this, he asked for beedi from Sanjay. Instead of giving bidi, Sanjay instead abused him. Enraged by this, Satyavan attacks Sanjay and Shobha with a knife.
Police found the dead body of the young man
Deputy Commissioner of Outer-North District Police said that on Tuesday, his team received information about the body of a youth lying near Mahadev Chowk in Shahbad Dairy area. The police immediately reached the forest near Sanskriti Apartments. There the police found the dead body of a young man. There were five knife wounds on his body.
The police opened the link one by one
After completing the formalities, the police sent the body for postmortem. On the spot, the police found the caller Suman and his friend Sudhir. Suman is a Civil Defense volunteer. Investigation was started after taking the statement of both. Later the deceased was identified. During the investigation, the police found glory. Taking his statement, the police registered the case.
Police arrested the killer accused
On Tuesday late night itself, the police nabbed the accused Satyawan. He works in a carpenter’s shop. During the investigation, the police came to know that he had been involved in robbery cases earlier. Police claimed to have solved the robbery case with his arrest besides murder.
